Ngige did not collapse – Chief Press Secretary

TVC E, NEWS – The Chief Press Secretary to the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has dismissed reports that his principal collapsed on Thursday.

He confirmed to TVC News that the Minister, Permanent Secretary and other top officials of the ministry have been in The Gambia since Tuesday.

He said the ministry has finished it’s budget defence sessions at the National Assembly long before now.

There had been reports that Ngige slumped while defending the budget of his ministry before the House of Representatives Committee on Labour.

The reports further claimed that Ngige was immediately rushed out of the venuwe for medical attention.
