Zimbabwe teachers brutalised by police

classroomViolence erupted in central Harare as hundreds of teachers who were protesting against Zimbabwe government failure to paytheir salaries and annual bonuses clashed with police.


Zimbabwe teachers have not received their December salaries and annual bonuses up to now .The protesting teachers were also demanding that President Robert Mugabe who is on his one month
holiday in the Far East to come back home to resolve the crisis.
Ironically the police who were beating up the teachers have also not received their salaries and the broke is just making empty promises. Zimbabwe doctors and nurses are already on strike also demanding their outstanding salaries. Zimbabwe government on the other hand blames western imposed sanctions for destroying the economy which saw them failing to pay all government workers.
