Yoruba Nollywood actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has been in the news a lot more lately but this time it is for something…. errr… positive? Rumours have it that Toyin Aimakhu has relocated to Ibadan, which is said to be her birth town. Insiders confirmed that the actress relocated two weeks ago.
Inside sources allege that she made the big move because Lagos is too stressful and she just couldn’yt deal with the stress associated with Lagos state anymore. How she is going to manage her movie shoots? well, Toyin has said that she will travel to Lagos whenever she has a movie to shoot.
The actor allegedly made the move to Ibadan without her estranged hubby Niyi Johnson in tow. The pair have been unofficially separated since mid of 2015 and are rumoured not to be on talking terms.
Toyin is one of the several Nollywood/Yoruba movie industry actors who have made Ibadan their permanent abode.
Actors Bimbo Oshin, Femi Adebayo and Muyiwa Ademola all live in Ibadan in houses they built and they still shuttle movie location when necessary.
