TVC E, ENTERTAINMENT – 2016 might as well be dubbed the most controversial year in Nigeria’s entertainment industry and it’s only the first month.
First was the Olamide-Don Jazzy feud at the Headies, then came the Dammy Krane/Wizkid brouhaha and we thought we’d seen it all for January.
But just a week after the Wizzy/Enterkraner beef, Nigeria’s very own Drake, Ice Prince Zamani is in the news and breaking the internet.
The drama unfolded on Instagram after the rapper’s girlfriend Maima Nkewa was called out for being unfaithful.
Maima had posted a photo in which she declared her love for Ice Prince, only for a commentator to accuse her of infidelity.
This same user went on to post photos of Maima at the same locations as the other guy she was allegedly cheating with.
The other guy, an “Abuja big boy‘ who goes by Akin is married with children. He allegedly took Maima on trips to romantic cities across the world, Dubai, London and Paris.
According to the tale, he also bought her a car and other accessories a sugar daddy would lavish on his love interest.
In his initial reaction to the photos, the Oleku crooner could not hide his discomfort and took to his Twitter page to share his displeasure.
But things took a U-turn on Tuesday as Ice Prince returned to Twitter to fervently defend Maima. He damned all, advising the married man to leave his girl alone and “go to church.”
The big question is: Did Maima actually cheat on Ice Prince, or it’s just a smear campaign by a disgruntled admirer?
