Harrison Ibukun scored the lone goal in the 17th minute of the first half to give his side the slim win.
The other match saw Nasarawa United pip Warri Wolves 1-nil.
The result takes Nasarawa to the summit of the Super Four log with four points, having drawn their first game against Enyimba.
