A few months back, Mrs. Remi Abere took on a task many would not dare, to become one of the oldest Nigerian women to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, at 49. She did it to draw attention to the plight of the internally displaced women and children in Nigeria, Remi and friends climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for 7 days – in the rain, sun, and snow – walking and climbing for an average of 8 hours every day and night, through terrifying terrain just to get to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro for the benefit of the women and children stuck in various IDP camps through no fault of their own.
Remi invites you to donate to this cause. To donate cash, clothes, products, medical supplies, toiletries, tents, building materials, and anything you can think of that may be of use to these women and children.
She was on TVC flagship YourViewTVC program on Friday and she left us this short video: [mom_video type=”youtube” id=”https://youtu.be/MjjOgaXK1N0″]
Remi is an adventurous person that believes anything is possible provided you can place “mind over matter”. Please log on to www.climbwithremi.com to find out how you can contribute to this project. The women and children in these camps need essential supplies, and any product you wish to donate to show them love will go a long way.
