PDP spokesman Metuh remanded in Kuje prison

Olisa-MetuhTVC E, POLITICS – The National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party Olisa Metuh has been remanded in Kuje prison by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

The PDP spokesman had pleaded not guilty during his arraignment by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on a seven –count charge.

Metuh’s counsel, Ifedayo Adedipe, filed an oral application for bail, but the prosecuting counsel opposed the application.

Presiding judge, Abang Obong, ruled that the application be properly filed so that the EFCC can respond before it would be entertained.

He directed that Metuh be transferred to the prison from EFCC custody.
