TVC E, SPORTS – Nigerian Super Eagles begin 2016 still in 66th position in FIFA world ranking for the month of January, after finishing 2015 in the same spot.
In the latest ranking released by FIFA on Thursday, Nigeria also remain static on the African continent in 14th position.
Elephants of Ivory Coast are still the number one team in Africa and 19th in the world while Algeria, Ghana, Cape Verde Island and Tunisia complete the top five in that order.
Senegal, Congo, Guinea, Cameroon and Egypt are the other Top 10 teams in Africa.
Belgium ended 2015 on a high note as the number one team in the world and they have begun 2016 in the same fashion.
Argentina and Spain also hold on to their respective second and third positions.
The situation in the top 10 remains unchanged in the latest ranking.
