TVC E, SPORT – Nigeria’s home based Super Eagles have crashed out of the ongoing African Nations Championship, CHAN, after losing 0-1 to Guinea.
Eagles, hitherto to their crash were leading the table with two points ahead of three other contenders.
Meanwhile, the other game between Tunisia and Niger ended 5-0, thereby giving Tunisia a good three points from the encounter.
With the Eagles’ defeat, Guinea and Tunisia have qualified for the second round with five points each.
Nigeria came third on the table with four points from three matches, coming behind Tunisia and Guinea.
Coach Sunday Oliseh had on Monday warned his team against committing costly mistake, saying the encounter with Guinea was a must win for the Eagles.
