TVC E, SPORTS – More than 40 elite foreign athletes have so far signed up to compete in the 2016 Lagos City Marathon coming up next month.
Of this number 14 of the men are in the top 20 bracket of the best long distance runners in the world.
For the women, eight of them are in the top 20.

In their quest to earn an international label for the Marathon, organisers say they are using transponders to ensure proper timing of the competition.
