Metuh brought to court in handcuffs

metu4TVC NEWS: Spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Olisa Metuh, was handcuffed to the federal high court in Abuja on today Tuesday 19th Jnuary 2016.

The PDP spokesman, who was remanded in Kuje prison on Friday, was guarded by officials of the Nigerian prisons service, and was brought to the court venue in a Black Maria Vehicle.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Metuh before the court on seven count charges of breach of public trust, corrupt acquisition of public funds and money laundering to the tune of N400m. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
