TVC E, INTERVIEW – Like the popular cliche “once bitten twice shy” popular Nollywood star, Doris Simeon is not leaving anything to chance as far as issue of marriage is concerned.
Although she admits her door is not shut to marriage, she’s not under pressure to remarry.
In a chat with TVCconnectMeets, an online platform that features celebrities, the Edo born actress said her door is opened to marriage but not desperate to remarry.
“I say it a lot and I will still say it. I didn’t close my door to marriage, if it comes fine and if not. Even if I am ugly than what anyone can imagine, I’ll still get those who’ll love me. Of course there is a man…..”
Speaking on what her asset is, the Nollywood star cum TV presenter said her skin is her greatest asset.
“I’ll say my skin, yeah my skin! A lot of people always think maybe I am half-caste. Am a typical Edo babe, one hundred percent South-south. Though some don’t believe me when I say this, I don’t really use any cream, I even hate it. Our weather is not friendly and I hate sweating, I use anything moderate that I can afford.”
On her eating habit, Doris said: I’m not really a food person but I love garri Ijebu a lot and things that go with garri that are crunchy especially Akara (beans cake) fried with red oil. I love roasted yam and bread”
Contrary to the possible fear of contracting Lassa fever through garri, the Edo born actress said: “Garri Ijebu is not from rat, garri ijebu must go on oh, yes garri ijebu and bread!. Anybody that tries to take garri ijebu away from Nigerians must ready to go to war.”
Doris, a second child from a polygamous family is currently a student of English Language at the National Open University. She is also one of the ambassadors of the institution.
