Home Eagles Beats AmaTuks In CHAN Friendly

The home-based Super Eagles defeated Absa Premiership side University of Pretoria, also known as AmaTuks, 3-0 in a friendly game Wednesday morning.

Sunshine Stars forward, Tunde Adeniji, scored a brace in the encounter against the South African top flight club with midfielder Ifeanyi Mathew getting the other goal.

The Eagles also beat amateur team, Rising Stars Academy, by the same scoreline in their last tune-up game in Abuja before embarking on the training tour of South Africa.

Next on the line for them are friendly games against CHAN- bound teams, Angola and Cote d’lvoire on Wednesday and January 11 respectively.

Their first game at CHAN is against Niger on January 18 at the 22,000 seater at the Kigali Regional Stadium.
