TVC E, TECH – Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau says the Federal Government will use modern technologies to guide Nigeria’s borders.
The development was made known by the minister when he visited the Illela border post in Sokoto on Monday.
“We will deploy intelligence, modern tools and technologies to detect and analyze movements along the Nation’s borders,” he said.
Dambazau noted that the security of lives and property of all Nigerians, including those at the border communities and those in the hinterland, is on the front-burner of the current administration.
“The Federal Government is also committed to stopping smuggling of arms, drugs and human trafficking,” he said.
