FG says no new case of Lassa Fever infections

Mastomys_natalensisThe Federal Government has declared that no new confirmed cases of the Lassa Fever infections have been reported in the past seventy two hours.

Health minister, Isaac Adewole insists that the number of suspected and reported cases is now ninety three and confirmed cases still stands at 25 with 41 deaths.

Adewole also encouraged vigilance and strict hygienic measures across the country
for both health care workers and the general public.

A four man expert committee has been put together to embark on a fact finding mission to the three most affected states Niger, Kano and Bauchi.
