Enyimba players, officials robbed in Okene, Kogi state

Enyimba-FCTVC E, SPORTS – Seven-time Nigerian champions Enyimba have been attacked by armed robbers on their way to Kaduna for the Nigeria Premier League pre-season tournament, the Super Four.

Enyimba were attacked at Okene in Kogi State.

The Players and officials of the team were robbed of their valuables but no one was injured in the incident.

Last March, players of Kano Pillars were attacked around the same area on their way to Owerri to take on Heartland for the opening game of last season.

Five Pillars players were injured in the attack.
