TVCE (SOCCER) – Former Super Eagles striker and ex-Eagles assistant coach, Daniel Amokachi, has been appointed as head coach of Finland’s JS Hercules for one year, Goal reports.
Amokachi will lead the newly promoted Finnish division side when the season begins and he is expected to bring his experience to the fore.
“It is certainly an adventure and a big change for me,” Goal quoted Amokachi as saying on the club website.
“I take this is a great challenge. The team is young and passionate. I’m looking forward to working with the players.”
According to club’s chairman, Juho Syrjä, the Delicacy is proud to have the former Super Eagles star who played at the highest level.
Until his appointment, Amokachi was in charge of Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, FC Ifeanyi Ubah.
