Gov. Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta on Saturday commiserated with the family of Ibru over the death of Olorogun Felix Ibru, the first civilian governor of the state
Okowa, in a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary,Charles Aniagwu, described late Ibru as a patriot and a political icon who led the state in her embryonic stage.”
The governor said that Ibru would be missed by all whose lives he had touched in many ways in his “very fulfilled and achievements-laden life.”
